It’s simple…with air miles you are rewarded every time you fly. With earthmiles you are rewarded every time you walk, run or cycle.
What is an “earthmile”?
An earthmile is a unit in the point system we use to reward your fitness activities. Just like air miles for flying, you earn earthmiles for moving on the earth.
How do I get earthmiles?
It’s all quite easy – when you register your account, you will be asked to sync with a tracking app that you use. You can connect to Apple Health, Samsung Health, Moves, Fitbit, Jawbone, MapMyRun, Runkeeper, Strava, Misfit, etc. More apps are added over time.
Once you link it, we will automatically pull your activities data from your tracking and award you with earthmiles! Check your profile for your latest earthmiles balance.
Which activities get me earthmiles?
We count walking, running, cycling and yoga towards your earthmiles balance.
- 1km walking =1em,
- 1km cycling = 3em,
- 1km running = 5km
- and , one yoga session = 5em.
We check all the data that we receive to remove duplication and data that looks wrong i.e. outside of certain normal limits. We also have a daily cap of 600em.
