Green Smoothie

Fight off the January sniffles with this Vitamin C packed immune boosting green smoothie.

(Serves 1-2 People)

Ingredients:

  • A large handful of washed spinach leaves
  • 1 Banana
  • Peeled Thumb Sized Piece of Ginger
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • 1 Peeled Orange
  • 2 Tablespoons Flax Seeds
  • 1 Cup Water

Method:

  1. Prepare all fresh ingredients then add to a blender.
  2. Add the flax seeds to blender and pour in the water.
  3. Blend until all ingredients are combined and it has a smooth texture. Serve up and enjoy!

 

N.B. Adjust the ingredients to suit your taste, this recipe is easily adaptable.
