20 Minute Fat Burning HIIT Cardio Exercise

Today I took inspiration from another blogger and tried out their fat burning cardio HIIT exercise. I wanted to share it with you because it is perfect for people with little time and made me feel incredibly refreshed and alive.

This exercise burns lots of calories during the workout but you also get an after burn effect for hours after so you will continue to shed the calories throughout the day.

Everyone is different and will be at different levels of fitness so may not be able to do the extreme version, but as long as you are pushing yourself and your heart rate to the maximum your body can, then you will have the same effect.

NB: Make sure you refuel afterwards with protein, healthy carbs or leafy greens. I chose to refuel with a pint of fresh juice as I am trying to lower my calorie intake at the moment and detox (Pic Below)


Juice Ingredients:

2 x large handfuls of Kale

1/4 x of a Fennel

1 x Apple

1/2 x Lemon

1 x Celery Stick

2 x Courgette (Zucchini)

1/4 Pineapple

The Exercise:

– On A running machine do 20 second sprints as fast as you can on an incline.

– You sprint for 20 seconds then jump off and rest for 40 seconds.

– Repeat this 20 times and you will feel like a machine afterwards.

– I had the incline on level 8 and the speed on level 14 but you can have it lower or higher if you need to.
