I was a bit apprehensive about cauliflower rice before I got to grips with how easy it was to make and now add it to everything so I thought I’d show you in 3 steps how easy it is to make…
1. Remove leaves and chop up the cauliflower florets:
2. Put into a food processor and pulse or turn on until it’s a rice-like consistency, this hardly takes any time at all!
3. Dry fry with any herbs and spices that go well with the overall meal you’re making. I often add tumeric and cayenne pepper as I use it as a rice for curries or stews so it gives it a bit of a kick.
Here are some ideas of dishes that include cauliflower rice:
- Paprika Turkey Stew (GF, DF)
- Asian Salmon with Spicy Cauliflower Rice (GF, DF, Meat-free)
- Chilli Con Carne (GF, DF)
- Chicken & Chorizo Stew (GF, DF)
- Taka Dahl (VEGAN, GF, DF)
- Thai Green Curry (GF, DF)
- Vegan Chilli Beans (VEGAN. GF, DF)
