Chocolate Orange Truffles

This is the perfect fix for that Christmassy chocolate orange flavour….full of richness, delicious and good for you of course! Perfect as a last-minute present or to serve as a sweet treat.


  • 150g dates
  • 30g almond flour
  • 15g cacao
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp water
  • rind of 1 orange


Soak the date in boiling water for about 10 minutes.

Drain and add all of the other ingredients and then blend together.

Transfer into a bowl and then leave in the fridge for a couple of hours.

Once the mixture is slightly stiffer remove from the fridge and scatter some desiccated coconut on a plate or in a bowl.

Form small squishy balls of the truffle mixture and roll in the coconut and place on a plate….keep going until the mixture has all been used up.


If you want them harder then put in the freezer and serve colder.
