Top Teas

Written by Sophie

I really love a good cuppa and have my favourite herbals picked out.  To be honest I didn’t really think that there was much more that could be done with different teas until recently when I came across three amazing ones which I now have my cupboards stocked with!

Herbal tea is a great choice when you’re trying not to snack on chocolate post-xmas and to fight the January blues so if you’re trying to be healthy, detox a bit or just warm up I hope you enjoy these discoveries

Positivitea Three Chi Chai

OMG this is so good – it is a beautiful little bag of Cocao, Chilli & Ginseng with Cinnamon.  I got to try this in our Christmas Lifebox and I’ve had to order a load more.  The flavour isn’t too overpowering but you can pick out all of the ingredients and the chilli and cocao go so well together.  It’s perfect for the morning to wake you up in place of coffee or an afternoon pick-me-up with a Squirrel bar..  It is a bit more expensive than your average supermarket tea, but you can taste the quality and the bags also last more than just one tea.

Teatonics Mind Awakening Yerba Mate

This is a blend of yerba mate, citrus, mint and reship which is delicious and does what it says – it’s so refreshing it really does give you a boost.  I didn’t really know what to expect with the taste when I tried it, especially as I’m not that familiar with ‘yerba mate’ but it is honestly delicious and worth a try!!

Clipper Wild Berry

This one has been around for a while and I can’t believe it’s only now that I’ve discovered it!! I had tea at someone’s office and copied their choice of hot drink and I was so pleased..  When I was younger I used to LOVE hot ribena, but since everyone realised it’s full of sugar I have been on a quest to find a good replacement and finally at the age of 30 I have found it.  It’s got a great taste award and when you try it you’ll see why!
