Choco Banana Pops
Want to get creative in the kitchen? You can with this simple recipe that the whole family will love: Choco Banana Pops Coated with our Cacao Brownie Bar.
Thanks to @live_well_with_lou for creating these delicious treats for us that use just 3 simple ingredients! These Choco Banana Pops are loaded with potassium and are an instant crowd-pleaser, not to mention they are really really easy and fun to make. They even last for a few weeks in the freezer, which makes them the perfect option for a make-ahead snack!
All you need are bananas, dark chocolate and a Squirrel Sisters Cacao Brownie bar (or flavour of your choice).
1) Peel, then cut each banana in half crosswise and insert a lolly stick into each half. Place on a tray and pop in the freezer until frozen, about three hours.
2) Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl (I’ve gone for dark chocolate but you can choose whatever you prefer). Pour the melted chocolate into a tall glass. Dip each frozen banana into the chocolate, turning it to coat, and immediately roll into some crumbled snack bar – I’ve gone for Cacao Brownie.
3) Freeze again until the chocolate sets and serve immediately or wrap individually and freeze for up to two weeks.
